Graham is a transition specialist and the founder and CEO of Novo. Over the last 15+ years, he has been helping individuals, teams and organisations accelerate performance and become more effective and resilient during times of extreme change.
Known for his bold and honest style, Graham’s innate commercial abilities have seen him build business functions in large corporations, and build and drive entrepreneurial and charitable ventures. From 2015 Graham led the growth of the top digital learning and networking platform for CFOs and HR Directors in Africa. Graham is the founder of a character strength bureau to help drive inclusion (Kandoo) and a tech startup focussed on bridging employee ideas to meaningful innovation programmes (Solve Differently).
Leading and coaching high performers and teams in demanding environments as head of learning and development, and later, in senior roles in business development at top law firms Bowmans and Norton Rose Fulbright, Graham understands the pressures and challenges of people, teams and businesses in transition.
Graham’s passion for Africa and its wild places show up in his client immersion work and, most meaningfully, as a fundraiser and volunteer member of Children in the Wilderness, a non-profit that aims to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa.
Graham holds an MSc in Organisational Change and Development from the University of Manchester and a BA (Honours) in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
